Research with another scout of another faith on two religious practice

The scout i'm researching with is Asvind. His religion is Hindusim. Two religious practices that he celebrates in his religion would be Fire Walking and Pongul. Fire Walking is an event where people would walk across a fire pit a week before Deepavali. This process is important because it shows the people that they are being devoted by everyone else who are at the event. The second religious practice, Pongul, is an event where people would put rice along with milk and black sugar. The milk will then be heated. When the milk gets heated up till it spills, everyone would have a sense of happiness. This religious practice is important as it allows everyone to be thankful to god for the god harvest of crops during that season
