The Singapore Pledge is an oath of allegiance to Singapore. It is commonly recited by all Singaporeans in unison during public events such as the National Day Parade. It is also recited by all Singaporean Students during every morning during their school assemblies. Since the Singaporean Pledge is a promise all Singaporeans should live by, I could live up to the aspirations of the pledge by hanging out or making friends with people of other races or other cultural backgrounds. By doing this, i can fulfil the promise of 'Pledge ourselves as one united people, regardless of race, language or religion.'
